BSS Chief for adapting new technology to build ‘Smart Bangladesh’

Managing Director and Chief Editor of

Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad today urged all

to adapt with updated digital technology to build ‘Smart Bangladesh’, envisioned by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“Under the prudent policy and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister

Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has achieved huge successes in

implementation of 'Digital Bangladesh' campaign. In BSS, we have

already upgraded our services through using digital technology,” he said.

Azad made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a workshop

on "E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan" at the BSS Board Room in

the city.

Azad asked all to take training sincerely as there is no chance of

avoiding digitization.

"We have to involve our lives with technology. There is no scope to

evade professional works in the 'Digital Bangladesh' envisioned by

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he added.

BSS Managing Editor Anisur Rahman delivered the closing remarks

while online In-Charge and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) Tanzim Anwar gave the welcome speech.

Information and Broadcasting Ministry’s System Analyst Md Mahbubul Kabir Siddiquie spoke as the resource person and BSS Chief of Planning, Development and Admin Mohammad Ali Khan Apu moderated the workshop.

In his speech, Rahman thanked all concerned to organise the

workshop and said this is fruitful workshop which will help take new

innovative ideas for ensuring better services for BSS clients.

"Innovation is a continue process. We are always taking new ideas for providing better services to our clients," he added.
