Dhaka: Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur: Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Showkat Ali has called for unified efforts at all levels to transform the university into a premier educational institution nationally and globally.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof. Md. Showkat Ali emphasized the necessity of academic excellence and research for institutional growth while speaking as the chief guest on the second day of a workshop titled ‘Office Management’. The workshop was organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the university’s virtual classroom today.
He stated, “To develop and enrich the university, emphasis should be placed on research and academic results. Good results should be achieved through quality research and academic activities.” Prof. Ali also mentioned that steps are being taken to identify and resolve existing challenges within the university and expressed hope that the workshop would contribute to making the university’s academic and administrative functions more modern and effective.
The event was presided over by IQAC Director Prof. Md. Tajul Islam. Registrar Dr. Md. Harun-or Rashid attended as a special guest, and Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations of Uttara University, delivered the keynote speech.
