Dhaka: Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed today proposed an allocation of Taka 6,022 crore for the bridges division under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges as he unveiled the budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the proposed budget documents allocated Taka 10 crore and Taka 6,012 crore for the operational and development purposes of the division, respectively. The allocation for FY2025-2026 is Taka 1,296 crore lower and Taka 167 crore more than the revised budget of the outgoing fiscal.
