Bogura:The Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited (SEZ) showcased its investment potential, modern infrastructure, and investor-friendly facilities to business leaders and prospective investors from the northern region at the Bogura Investor Roadshow 2026.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the roadshow, organized by Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited in Bogura on September 25, was attended by about 75 local investors, along with business leaders, industry representatives, local dignitaries, and invited guests.
During the event, prospective investors were briefed on industrial setup opportunities, infrastructural advantages, and existing facilities available at the economic zone. In his welcome address, Dr. Engr Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Director of Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited, emphasized the importance of regional investor roadshows in promoting national industrialization and expanding investment.
Lt Col Md Shariful Islam (Retd), Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer of Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited, delivered the keynote presentation, outlining the investment opportunities, infrastructure, and business-friendly incentives available at the SEZ. Bogura-6 lawmaker Rezaul Karim Badsha was present as the chief guest, while Bogura-4 lawmaker Md Mosharraf Hossain attended the event as a special guest. Administrator of Bogura District Council A K M Ahsanul Tayeb Zakir and President of Bogura Chamber of Commerce and Industry M S M Atiqur Rahman Badal also addressed the gathering.
The speakers underscored the importance of promoting industrialization, expanding investment, and accelerating economic activities in the northern region. Chairman of Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited, A Matin Chowdhury, handed over honorary crests to the distinguished guests during the program.
In his concluding remarks, Chowdhury expressed gratitude to the participating investors, business leaders, guests, and industry representatives, noting that such initiatives help establish direct communication with prospective investors and attract new industries to the Sirajganj Economic Zone. Through the roadshow, Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening engagement with entrepreneurs and investors in the northern region and promoting the SEZ as a destination for future industrial investment.
