Thakurgaon: Leaders and activists of BNP celebrated the party's 47th founding anniversary with significant enthusiasm. Marking the occasion, a discussion was held in front of the district BNP office, chaired by the general secretary of the unit, Mirza Faisal Amin. Following the discussion, a colorful rally paraded through different streets of the town, concluding at the BNP office. Leaders and activists of the district BNP and its associate bodies participated in the rally.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, speakers at the event highlighted that Bangladesh is progressing towards democracy. They encouraged the party leaders and workers to stay united to realize the ideology of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. As part of the program, Zia Smriti Pathagar organized a documentary screening and cultural program. District BNP vice-president Obaidullah Masud, joint general secretary Paigam Ali, and leaders of other BNP-affiliated organizations also spoke on the occasion.
