BNP, Jamaat create militancy: Noor

NILPHAMARY, April 7, 2017 (BSS)- Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor today said the BNP-Jamaat triggered militancy in the country at a time when the nation was progressing fast.

"BNP and Jammat are hatching conspiracies when the country is developing tremendously under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he said speaking as the chief guest at the triennial conference of Krishok League (KL) of district unit at Shilpakala Academy here.

KL central unit general secretary Khandakar Shamsul Haque Reza, Lawmaker Umme Kulsum Smriti, AL district unit president Dewam Kamal Ahmed and general secretary Momtazul Haque, KL Vice Presidents Chashi MA Karim and Faruq Alam Sarker and Joint secretary Samir Chanda, among others, were addressed the meeting.

KL central unit President Motahar Hossain Molla presided over the meeting.

Noor said Bangladesh, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, witnessed a revolution in agriculture. "Now, we are exporting food products," he added.

The minister urged the AL activists to project the government's development works before people.
