Dhaka: A high-level delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, is set to visit China on June 22, 2025. The visit comes at the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the preparations for the visit included a meeting held today between a BNP delegation and Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka’s Baridhara. The meeting was attended by key BNP figures, including standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Begum Selima Rahman, and several other party leaders. The gathering was organized at the invitation of the ambassador, as stated in a press release issued earlier.
The delegation’s visit marks a significant step in fostering relations between the BNP and the CPC, and it is expected to focus on discussions around enhancing bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
