Munshiganj: BNP candidate Md. Kamruzzaman won from the Munshiganj-3 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election. He secured a total of 1,24,691 votes, while his nearest rival, independent candidate Md. Mohiuddin, received 88,936 votes.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in the referendum, 1,97,792 people cast ‘Yes’ votes and 57,164 others cast ‘No’ votes. The results were announced at the Result Collection Center, confirming the victory of Md. Kamruzzaman in the election.
