Tangail: Winter clothes, specifically blankets, were distributed among the helpless and distressed people in Sakhipur upazila here today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has distributed 2,700 blankets among the poor and helpless people of the upazila during a function.
Sakhipur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdullah Al Roni was responsible for distributing these blankets to the distressed and helpless individuals at the Sakhipur Municipality office premises. The event saw the presence of Upazila Social Service Officer Mansur Ahmed, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md Wasim, Poura BNP President Nasir Uddin, and Municipality Executive Officer Kamrul Islam, among others.
