Kishoreganj: Primary and Mass Education Adviser Bidhan Ranjon Ray Podder today emphasized the importance of providing moral education to students, particularly at the primary level, to cultivate them into worthy citizens of the country. "The students would be built up as the worthy citizens of the country if they grew through moral education...reading of essays and literature can be a good technique to learn moral education," he stated.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser urged guardians to assist their children in adopting a moral lifestyle while fostering a sense of unity, fondness, and discipline. He highlighted the crucial role that the school environment plays in this matter, noting that students often regard their teachers as ideal human beings.

The adviser shared these insights while exchanging views with headmasters and primary education officers of the district as the chief guest. The meeting, organized by the Kishoreganj district administration and District Primary Education Office, took place at Kishoreganj Shilpakola Academy.

Other notable speakers included Primary and Mass Education Secretary Abu Taher Md Masud Rana, Director General of Primary Education Directorate Abu Nur Md Shamsuzzaman, its Director Kamrul Hassan, and District Primary Education Officer Mujib Alam. Referring to the quality of education, Bidhan noted that the media, alongside teachers and administration, can play a significant role in ensuring the standard of primary education. "We can know the problems of different educational institutions through the media and after that we can take effective measures to solve those problems accordingly," he added.
