BHF Selects 38 Players for National Hockey Team Training Camp

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) today announced the selection of 38 players for a conditioning training camp for the national hockey team. The non-residential camp is scheduled to take place at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium from July 12 to 14.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the players have been instructed to report to the venue on July 12 at 7 am. The selected roster comprises players from various positions including defenders, midfielders, forwards, and goalkeepers.



The defenders chosen for the camp are Ramim Hossain, Pretom Roy, Hujaifa Hossain, Rezaul Karim Babu, Mehrab Hasan Samin, Aman Shorif Ovoy, Rabbi Hossain, Mehedi Hasan, Sohanur Rahman Sobuj, Ashraful Islam, Farhad Ahmed Shitul, Khor Shedur Rahman, Amirul Islam, Khaled Mahmud, and Monokj Babu.



In the midfield category, the BHF has picked Abed Uddin, Shohidur Rahman, Tayeb Ali, Raju Ahmed, Nayeem Uddin, Al Nahiun Shuvo, Roman Sarkar, Fazle Hossain Rabbi, and Sarowar Hossain.



The forwards selected include Puskar Khisa Mimo, Rakibul Hasan, Arshad Hossain, Tasin Ali, Dwin Islam Emon, Mahbub Hossain, Milon Hossain, Jubayer Neloy, and Rahin Hossain.



For the goalkeeping slots, Biplob Kujur, Nuruzzaman Nayon, Abu Ayeed Nippon, Sajubur Rahman, and Saijjuddin Ahmed have been selected.



The BHF’s decision to conduct this training camp is part of their ongoing efforts to enhance the skills and performance of the national hockey team.
