Dhaka: Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (BHBCU) has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its alliance for securing a landslide victory in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad polls.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BHBCU, an organization dedicated to protecting the human rights of religious minorities in Bangladesh and advocating for equal rights for all citizens regardless of religious affiliation, issued a statement this evening.
The statement, signed by BHBCU Acting General Secretary Minidra Kumar Nath, conveyed gratitude to the interim government, the Election Commission, the Bangladesh Army, law enforcement authorities, and all political parties for ensuring peaceful elections.
The organization expressed hope that this peaceful electoral trend would continue in the future to foster a democratic Bangladesh and counter any unrest or chaos.
