Satkhira: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today recovered a significant quantity of Indian smuggled goods from various border areas of Sadar and Kolaroa upazilas here. The operation was conducted based on specific intelligence inputs.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, several teams of BGB executed raids in the Lakhidaru, Karlvert, and Kaliani areas of Sadar upazila, leading to the recovery of Indian smuggled medicines. In parallel actions, BGB teams also targeted the Gerakhali and Bhadiali areas in Kolaroa upazila, where they seized smuggled Indian liquor and cosmetics.
The successful recovery of these smuggled goods was confirmed by Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB) Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ashraful Haque, who acknowledged the efforts of the BGB teams involved in the operations.
