BFUJ pays homage to Bangabandhu at JPC

DHAKA, March 17, 2023 (BSS) - Incumbent and former leaders of BFUJ- Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, led by its president Omar Faruque and secretary general Dip Azad, today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait at Jatiya Press Club (JPC) in city.

Marking the 103rd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu and the National Children's Day-2023, the BFUJ leaders paid rich tributes to Bangabandhu, the greatest Bangalee of all times and architect of independence Bangladesh.

BFUJ former president and Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad, former BFUJ president Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul, editor of the Daily Sun Enamul Haque Chowdhury, BFUJ vice president Madhusudan Mandol, BFUJ executive member Nure Jannat Akter Sima and JPC executive member Shahnaj Siddiqui Soma were, among others, present.

On this day in 1920, Bangabandhu, the vivacious leader of the Bangalee nation, the architect of independent Bangladesh and the greatest Bangalee of all times, was born in a respected Muslim family at Tungipara village of Gopalganj sub-division, now district.
