BEZA Inks Land Lease Agreement with Delta Life Science PLC

Dhaka: Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) today inked a land lease agreement with Delta Life Science PLC for allocating 30 acres of land in the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ). In presence of BEZA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, BEZA Executive Member (Investment Promotion) Saleh Ahmed and Managing Director of the Delta Life Science PLC Dr Md Zakir Hossain inked the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the BEZA conference room in the city.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Ashik Chowdhury congratulated the investor, stating that the company is recognized in its sector and is building a reputable business both nationally and internationally. He emphasized that linking up such investors with BEZA will lead to increased investment in the economic zone and diversification of products.



Delta Life Science, a subsidiary of Delta Pharma Limited, plans to establish internationally compliant modern production facilities in the emerging pharmaceutical industry of Bangladesh through advanced technology and innovative initiatives. This effort aims to ensure supply to both domestic and international markets, contributing to the national economy and healthcare sector.



In the NSEZ, the company will concentrate on producing specialized medicines to meet the growing domestic and global demand. The company plans to invest approximately US$ 30 million and create around 700 direct jobs.
