Dhaka: Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) has invited applications from experienced and skilled ICT professionals for several important positions under the BGD e-GOV CIRT Project (2nd Revised). The project plays a vital role in strengthening the country's cyber security infrastructure. Therefore, BCC is looking for professionals with proven expertise in areas such as Cyber Security, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Digital Forensics, Certifying Authority, IT Risk-based Audit, and Software/Application Development.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, details regarding the application process and the Request for Application (RFA) are available on the BCC website, with hard copies also accessible from the project office during official hours. The application deadline has been extended, allowing interested candidates to submit their CVs by September 7, 2025.
Chief Adviser's Special Assistant on Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, shared the recruitment announcement on his Facebook page. Notable positions include Senior Technical Specialist (Digital Security) requiring over 10 years of experience, and IT Auditor, also demanding a decade of professional expertise.
Other roles include Information Security Specialist, Digital Forensic Analyst, Public Relationship Officer, Legal Officer, and Application Security Manager, among others. Each position demands specific skills and years of experience, with some roles requiring certifications such as ISTQB and CDCP.
The recruitment drive emphasizes the need for proficiency in areas like cyber threat analysis, IT policy development, and data center infrastructure management.
