Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed its gratitude to Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, the outgoing Adviser for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, for his consistent support and constructive engagement with Bangladesh cricket during his tenure: In a statement, BCB President Md Aminul Islam acknowledged the significant contributions made by Bhuyain, emphasizing his commitment to the development of the sport in the country.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the statement from the BCB highlighted Bhuyain’s proactive approach to addressing cricket-related issues. “We are deeply appreciative of the clarity and enthusiasm with which Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain approached every issue concerning cricket,” the statement noted. His tenure was marked by pivotal guidance during critical periods, including efforts to strengthen cricket infrastructure and overcome operational challenges.
