BB Governor Presents New Banknote Designs to Chief Adviser

Dhaka: Bangladesh Bank governor Dr Ahsan H. Mansur today handed over images of six newly designed banknotes to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. The presentation took place following a meeting of the council of advisers at the Chief Adviser's Office, as confirmed by Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder to BSS.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was attended by several key advisers, including Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed, Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul, Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma, and Local Government and Rural Development Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain. The unveiling of the new banknote designs marks a significant development in the country's currency management and design strategy.
