BAUET Welfare Club Distributes Eid Gifts to Orphans and Helpless

Bagatipara: Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) Welfare Club today distributed Eid gifts among orphans and helpless people on the campus. The initiative aimed to bring joy and support to the less fortunate in the community.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the program was organized at the Faculty and Officers Point in the afternoon, with BAUET Vice-Chancellor Brigadier General Md Mizanuzzaman serving as the chief guest. A press release issued this evening detailed the event's proceedings.

University Treasurer Retired Colonel Md Shawkat Hussain, Registrar Lt. Colonel (Retd) KFA Sohel, and several other university officials, including deans of different faculties, proctor, students' welfare adviser, heads of departments, teachers, officers, and students, were present at the occasion.

Eid gifts were distributed to 90 orphans and helpless people from the surrounding areas of BAUET, as mentioned in the release. The initiative was part of the university's ongoing efforts to support and uplift the local community.
