Dhaka:Bangladesh has witnessed a significant rise in remittance inflows, receiving US$11,687 million from July 1 to November 1, 2026. This marks a 14.7 percent increase compared to the US$10,192 million received during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the country received US$222 million in remittances on November 1, 2026, a notable increase from the US$43 million recorded on the same date in 2025.
The robust growth in remittance inflows highlights the continued contributions of expatriate Bangladeshis to the national economy. This increase also supports the country's foreign exchange reserves and contributes to external sector stability.
