Dhaka: Bangladeshi and Indian importers and exporters today held a joint meeting at Sonamasjid Land Port in Chapainawabganj, the country’s second-largest land port, to discuss ways to expand bilateral trade and resolve existing problems. The meeting took place this afternoon at the conference room of Panama Sonamasjid Port Link Limited and was organised by the Sonamasjid Importers and Exporters Group.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the traders from both countries emphasised the importance of increasing import-export operations through the Sonamasjid-Mahadipur Land Ports. They also urged the authorities to resume the exchange of goods that has been suspended for some time.
