Dhaka: Bangladesh Under-19 team will visit England in September for a five-match Youth ODI series, as part of their preparation for the next year’s World Cup. The series is set to commence on September 5, with subsequent matches scheduled for September 7, 10, 12, and 14.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh youngsters will face off against the Ireland Under-19 team in a warm-up game on September 3, ahead of their series in England. The team is scheduled to depart from Bangladesh on August 31.
The Bangladesh youth side has already begun their practice for the upcoming tour. They were previously on a break following a successful tour in Africa, where they won a bilateral series against South Africa and secured the trophy in a tri-nation tournament held in Zimbabwe.
