Bangladesh U16 looking to seal series against Pakistan

DHAKA, Bangladesh Under16 team will take on Pakistan tomorrow (Monday) in the second match of the threematch oneday series at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

The hosts won the first match by 89 runs and a victory tomorrow will help them clinch the series with a match to spare.

Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi led Bangladesh youth's emphatic victory with a stellar allround performance as he scored 71 ball66 runs and took two wickets with the cherry.

However Bangladesh would be worried with their toporder batsmen's performance. Batting first in the first match, the junior Tigers were reduced to 966 before Mahfuz rescued the side from the ultimate shamble.

Bangladesh earlier won the twomatch threeday series by 10, thanks to a fivewicket win over Pakistan in the first match. The second and final threeday match ended in a draw.
