Dhaka: The five-day-long fourth Bangladesh Short and Documentary Film Festival 2025 is scheduled to commence on April 22. The event, organized by the Department of Drama and Film of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, will run until April 26.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Department of Drama and Film has called on filmmakers and relevant stakeholders to submit their films by the deadline of March 15. The festival aims to showcase creative works in short and documentary film formats.
The festival will feature six awards in both divisions, split across three categories, highlighting the best of short and documentary filmmaking talent. The event promises to be a significant platform for filmmakers to exhibit their work and gain recognition.
