Dhaka:The government has officially altered the Bangla name of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs to 'Nari O Shishu Bishoyok Montronaloy'.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Monday, October 26, to formally announce the change in the ministry's Bangla name. This notification has been published in the official gazette.
The notification specifies that while the Bangla name has been updated, the English name of the ministry, 'Ministry of Women and Children Affairs', remains the same. This change follows the Cabinet's approval of the proposal during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on October 18.
