Khulna: BNP central executive committee member and student affairs secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul has urged all to remain vigilant against those who create confusion in the name of religion. He made the call while inaugurating the extension work of Baytul Najat Nurani Mosque and Madrasa Academy at Baikali Boro Boyra in Khulna’s Khalishpur area on Saturday evening.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bakul emphasized the need for voters to act responsibly in the upcoming national election. He advised the public to question candidates on their past contributions and presence in the community. “If someone comes to seek your vote, ask them-where were you all this time, and what have you done for the people?” he addressed the gathering.

Highlighting the importance of faith-based education, Bakul noted the necessity for children to gain both moral and spiritual strength. He pointed out that madrasa institutions uphold Islamic values and should be strengthened further to support this educational goal.

Earlier in the event, Bakul laid the foundation stone for a deep tube-well installation near Haji Shariat Ullah School rail crossing in Khalishpur. This initiative aims to provide pure drinking water to the local community.
