Bagerhat: Bagerhat Zila Parishad today honored and awarded scholarships to 323 meritorious students who successfully passed SSC, HSC, university, and medical admission examinations in 2024. The program was held at the Zila Parishad Auditorium in Shaltala at 11:30 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad Bhaskar Debnath Bappi presided over the event, while Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Kamrul Hasan was present as the chief guest. A total of Tk 1.7 million was distributed among the students during the program.
Deputy Director of the Local Government Department Dr. Md. Fakhrul Hasan, District Education Officer S.M. Sayedur Rahman, Executive Engineer of LGED Md. Sharifuzzaman, and District Primary Education Officer Nasrin Akter were present on the occasion as special guests.
