Dhaka: The two-day Inter-Base Qirat and Azan competition of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) concluded today at the Shaheen Mosque of BAF Base Bashar. A total of seven teams from different bases of the Bangladesh Air Force participated in the event.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the competition was inaugurated by Air Officer Commanding of Air Headquarters (Unit) Air Commodore Md Asadul Karim on February 16, 2026. BAF Base Bir Uttam A K Khandker emerged as the champion of the competition, while BAF Base Zahurul Haque secured the runner-up position.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Administration) Air Vice-Marshal Rushad Din Asad, who distributed prizes to the winners and runner-up as the chief guest. The event was also graced by the presence of the Air Officer Commanding of Air Headquarters (Unit), senior BAF officers, airmen, and other members.
