Annual Winter Exercise of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) ‘WINTEX-2023’ began at all BAF Bases and Units on Sunday.
BAF fighter aircrafts, transport aircrafts, helicopters, radar squadrons and Surface to Air Missile (SAM) unit including all BAF personnel are taking part in this exercise.
As a part of the exercise, the pilots of Bangladesh Air Foce will master a variety of air warfare tactics, says a media release of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
The effectiveness of air defence capability of Bangladesh will enhance through this exercise, it said.
Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Police, Civil Defence and BNCC (Air Wing) are also participating in the exercise.
