Dhaka:The AUST EEE Day 2026, an annual celebration hosted by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, concluded with numerous cultural events and a performance by renowned singer and composer Habib Wahid.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the event took place on October 6 at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka, drawing nearly 2,000 students, faculty members, alumni, and industry representatives. Organized by Soroikko-50 and co-organized by Trayottik-55, the day served as both a welcoming ceremony for the department's new students and a farewell to the outgoing batch.
The celebration included cultural performances by students from various batches, highlighting their talents beyond academics. Notable guests, including alumni and representatives from sponsoring organizations, addressed the gathering, reflecting on the department's achievements and the community bonds.
Chery served as the title sponsor, with additional support from Neural Semiconductor, Superstar Group, Gigabyte, Polar Ice Cream, and Omera Solar. The event concluded with a live performance by Habib Wahid, which brought together students, alumni, and guests for a memorable finale.
The presence of AUST's vice-chancellor, professors, distinguished alumni, and current students added further significance to the event. Organizers aimed to foster connections across generations within the department while providing a platform for creativity and cultural expression.
