Dhaka: The government has promoted Md Ataur Rahman Khan, additional secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, to the rank of secretary at the Ministry of Commerce. The announcement was made following the issuance of a gazette notification by the Ministry of Public Administration.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Ataur Rahman had been serving as an additional secretary at the home ministry before his promotion and subsequent appointment to the commerce ministry.
