Dhaka: Youth and Sports State Minister Aminul Haque has extended a financial lifeline to a family of nine visually impaired musicians from the Brahmanbaria district. He has provided Taka 5 lakh to the family, who recently captured public admiration with their musical performance at the Para Sports Carnival in Dhaka.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the financial assistance was formally handed over at the State Minister’s political office in Mirpur. The family, known for their remarkable ability to play musical instruments and sing, left a lasting impression at the event, prompting the Minister to pledge his support.
The State Minister expressed his admiration for the family’s talent and resilience. He emphasized the societal obligation to support individuals with special needs and disabilities, acknowledging the musicians’ efforts to sustain themselves through music.
