Grand Master Enamul Hossain Razib of Bangladesh beat Indian International Master Dinesh Kumar Sharma in the 6th round open section match of the Asian Continental Chess Championships held in the Indian capital New Delhi on Monday.
In the day’s 6th round, GM Razib played with white pieces to choose the Ruy-Lopez opening system and beat his opponent after 39 moves.
In the Women’s section, Bangladeshi WCM Jannatul Ferdous received bye in the day’s 6th round match.
After the day’s 6th round, GM Enamul Hossain Razib earned 2.5 points while WCM Jannat bagged 2 points.
