Dhaka: Miah Muhammad Ashraf Reza Faridy, the joint secretary of the public administration ministry, has been appointed as the Prime Minister’s Private Secretary-1 (PS-1).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification regarding this appointment. The notification, which was signed by senior assistant secretary Samiul Amin, stated that the appointment was made in line with the Prime Minister’s desire.
The notification outlined that Miah Muhammad Ashraf Reza Faridy will hold the position of PS-1 for the duration of the Prime Minister’s term or until the Prime Minister deems otherwise. The order is effective immediately from the date of his joining.
