Anee Calls for United Efforts Among BNP Leaders Ahead of National Polls

Lakshmipur: BNP Joint-Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee today urged BNP leaders and activists to unify as the national polls approach. Speaking at the biennial conference of the Upazila and Municipality BNP at Ramganj Government College Ground, Anee emphasized the importance of teamwork and door-to-door campaigns as directed by Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Anee stressed that efficient leadership is expected to emerge from the conference, aligning with Tarique Rahman’s decision to maintain party unity. He assured that the party’s symbol, the paddy sheaf, would remain prominent in the upcoming elections under Rahman’s leadership.



Anee further called for collective efforts to support BNP Chief Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman. The event featured notable figures such as BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Monirul Haque Chowdhury as the chief guest, with Shahadat Hossain Selim and Mahbuber Rahman Shamim as main speakers.



The conference was presided over by Ramganj Upazila BNP convener Mozammel Haque Mazur, with Sheikh Kamrul Hossain conducting the event. Attendees included former MP ABM Ashraf Uddin Nijan, BNP leaders Harunur Rashid, Sahab Uddin Sabu, and others, highlighting the party’s collective resolve ahead of the elections.
