Amit and Bijoy’s Centuries Propel Khulna in NCL Third Round.

Sylhet: Openers Anamul Haque Bijoy and Amit Mojumder hit centuries as Khulna reached 358-6 on Day 1 of the third-round game against Dhaka Metro in the 26th National Cricket League (NCL) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today. Amit hammered 145 off 234 with 14 fours and three sixes while Bijoy scored 169-ball 125, including 13 fours and three sixes. The duo gave Khulna a blazing start, sharing 230 runs for the opening stand.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shohidul Islam broke through with the wicket of Bijoy but Amit and Imrul Kayes combined for a 96-run for the second wicket. The partnership was broken when Kayes was trapped run out for 46. After his dismissal, Khulna lost four wickets for 28 runs. At stumps, Tipu Sultan was batting on 1 with Mahedi Hasan yet to score.
