Banani: The 6th China-Ambassador Cup Washu competition is set to commence on Friday, November 22, at the Army Stadium Multipurpose Shade in Banani, as announced in a press release. This two-day event promises to bring together a diverse group of participants under the auspices of the Embassy of China in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Washu Federation (BWF). According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Brigadier General Md Humayun Kabir, chairman of the army sports regulation board, will inaugurate the event as the chief guest. The competition is expected to showcase the skills of nearly two hundred players and officials representing various esteemed institutions such as the Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, and Bangladesh Post Office. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of China in Bangladesh, will grace the opening ceremony with his presence. The event will be presided over by BWF acting president Sheikh Efaz Ahmed, while the general secretary, Dulal Hossain, will conduct the opening programme. The Ambassador Cup Washu competition is anticipated to be a significant event, fostering cultural exchange and sporting excellence.
