Awami League (AL) will start distributing nomination forms for the elections of five city corporations, three upazila parishads, five municipalities and seven union parishad from April 9-12 as the Election Commission has announced the schedule for the polls.
The party has asked nomination-aspirants to collect application forms and submit those between 11am and 4pm every day during the time at AL president Sheikh Hasina's political office in the city's Dhanmondi area, said a party press release signed by AL office secretary Biplab Barua.
The party has also asked all the candidates to bring their National Identity Card to collect and submit the nomination forms by properly maintaining health guidelines.
