Dhaka: Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan returned home today after completing an official visit to Italy.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his visit, the air chief participated in the AeroSpace Power Conference (ASPC) 2025, held on May 8-9. The conference was attended at the invitation of Lieutenant General Luca Goretti, chief of staff of the Italian Air Force.
Air chiefs, military personnel, and civil officials from various countries were present at the event. In addition to attending the conference, the Bangladesh Air Force chief visited Leonardo Facilities. This visit was made at the invitation of Leonardo S.p.a, an Italian military equipment manufacturer.
The visit of Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan is anticipated to play a significant role in strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing mutual cooperation in professional sectors between Bangladesh and Italy. The air chief embarked on his journey from Dhaka to Italy on May 7.
