Admission Test for Agricultural Cluster Universities Commences Today

Dhaka: The admission test for first-year undergraduate (honours) programmes for the 2025-26 academic session under the agricultural cluster of nine universities is set to take place this afternoon. The examination is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm and will continue until 3:00 pm, utilizing the multiple-choice question (MCQ) format.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a significant number of 88,228 candidates are expected to participate in the admission test, vying for 3,701 seats available across the cluster universities. This results in an average competition rate of 24 candidates per seat. The test will be conducted simultaneously at 20 sub-centres throughout the country, including the nine universities forming the agricultural cluster.



The universities included in this cluster are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
