Jashore: Ad-din Foundation, a private organization, has introduced a complimentary helicopter service aimed at delivering rapid medical assistance to critical and emergency patients across ten districts in the Khulna division. The service was inaugurated today at a ceremony held at the Jashore Ad-din Medical College Hospital auditorium.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, served as the chief guest at the event, where he officially launched the helicopter service. The initiative will utilize two specialized helicopters to transport impoverished patients to either Ad-din Jashore or Khulna Medical College Hospital without any charge.
The foundation has identified 614 spots across the ten districts to facilitate the service. Upon receiving a call to the hotline numbers of Ad-din, the helicopters will promptly be dispatched to these designated locations.
