Dhaka:A court has placed Ahmed Shahriar Reza Dip on a three-day fresh remand in connection with the murder case of former Air Force Flight Lieutenant KM Tahsif Souri.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Monirul Islam issued the remand order after police presented Dip in court, requesting a seven-day remand. Previously, Dip had been placed on a four-day remand on October 31, followed by another three-day remand on November 3.
Police detained Dip, who was a junior friend of Tahsif, from a residence in Mohammadpur's Babar Road on October 29. KM Tahsif Souri, aged 27, left his Uttara apartment on October 27 after receiving a phone call from Dip.
