Dhaka:Four people were killed in a head-on collision between an Asian University bus and an auto-rickshaw in the Diabari area under Mirpur in the capital this morning. The victims include two men and two women, whose identities have not yet been confirmed.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident took place at Nawaberbag in Diabari on the Mirpur embankment road under Shah Ali Police Station. Fire Service and Civil Defence Media Officer Talha Bin Jasim reported the incident via a short message today.
Following the collision, a rescue unit from Kallyanpur Fire Station arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations.
