Dhaka:Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam announced that the "Bangladesh Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Summit 2026" is scheduled to be held in the capital on Thursday. The event aims to expand the use of AI in the country's business and economy, increase productivity, and strengthen public-private partnerships.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the summit will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. The inaugural session, set to begin at 1000 am, will feature President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir as the chief guest.

The second session will discuss partnerships between educational institutions and industries to promote business innovation. The third session will explore the role of AI agents as digital co-workers in business operations.
