Dhaka:The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain for several areas within the Khulna and Barishal divisions over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met office bulletin issued this morning indicated that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in these regions. Meanwhile, the weather in other parts of the country is expected to remain mostly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies.
Additionally, night and day temperatures are predicted to remain relatively unchanged across the country. The highest temperature recorded on Monday was 35.2 degrees Celsius in Sandwip, located in the Chattogram division, while the minimum temperature today is noted as 19.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia, within the Rangpur division.
In Dhaka, the sun is set to set at 518 pm today and will rise at 606 am tomorrow.
