According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a new study by MetLife highlights the positive impact of technology in the workplace, with 91 percent of employees using artificial intelligence (AI) reporting enhanced work experiences.
The study suggests emerging opportunities for a more satisfied, engaged, and future-ready workforce through technology, employee wellbeing, and improved workplace benefits. On the employer side, 85 percent acknowledge the importance of benefits in building workplace culture, up from 78 percent in 2025.
Additionally, the study found that 55 percent of employees already use AI in their daily tasks, with 91 percent of these users noting positive impacts on their work experience. Employers are increasingly supporting AI adoption, with 58 percent currently encouraging its use.
The findings also highlight a rise in financial stress affecting productivity, with 72 percent of employees expecting employer support during significant financial challenges. Interest in personalized benefits has grown sharply, and retirement preparedness remains a concern, particularly for employees aged 40 and above.
