Sylhet:BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has reiterated the party's firm stance on maintaining 'zero tolerance' against individuals involved in extortion, hooliganism, and any unethical activities.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rizvi emphasized that strict measures will be enforced against anyone misusing the party's name for wrongdoing. He made these comments during a views-exchange meeting at a local hotel in Sylhet city.

Rizvi, who also serves as a Political Adviser to the Prime Minister, accused a person from a neighboring country of inciting provocations. He stated that the government continues to progress by addressing conspiracies orchestrated by defeated forces. Rizvi also alleged that these forces are attempting to instigate workers in various ways.

Criticizing the opposition, Rizvi remarked that issues which could have been resolved in Parliament are instead being addressed through a long march. He further commented on local elections, stating that they will not be conducted on party symbols, and district BNP leaders will support candidates with the best chance of winning.
