Joymonirghol:The Bangladesh Coast Guard conducted a medical camp providing free treatment and essential medicines to 133 individuals in Joymonirghol, located in the Mongla upazila of Bagerhat district, on Saturday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the medical camp was organized by Coast Guard Base Mongla and took place at Joymonirghol Government Primary School between 11am and 2pm.
Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon, the Coast Guard Media Officer, revealed in a press release that the Coast Guard routinely holds medical camps and undertakes humanitarian activities to assist communities residing in coastal and riverbank regions. This particular camp aimed to deliver free healthcare services and distribute necessary medicines to the local residents.
Lieutenant Commander Sujon further stated that the Coast Guard plans to continue these public welfare initiatives in the future.
