Khulna:The logo for the seventh convocation of Khulna University has been finalized as preparations for the graduation ceremony continue with the formation of various committees. The announcement was made during a meeting held at the university's administrative building conference room.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Rezaul Karim and attended by key university officials, including the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Treasurer, and Acting Registrar. The President and University Chancellor, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, has consented to preside over the convocation, which is scheduled for January 13.
Preparations are underway with the establishment of subcommittees to ensure the smooth organization of the event. Additionally, a website has been developed for graduate registration, with details to be announced shortly.
Earlier in the day, the Sculpture Discipline at the university inaugurated a new metal-casting and terracotta kiln facility named 'Shilpagni,' with the Vice-Chancellor unveiling the nameplate and cutting a ribbon during the ceremony. The university has also scheduled a series of programmes on October 31 and November 1, 4, 5, and 6 for the 2022 batch, ensuring smooth events through coordination with local law enforcement agencies.
