Dhaka:The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are set to be announced on October 31. Students will be able to access their results online and via SMS following a formal ceremony at the International Mother Language Institute in the capital at 1100 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has issued a press release detailing the methods for both examinees and educational institutions to retrieve the results. The press release provides comprehensive guidance on accessing the results through online platforms and SMS services.
Examinees and educational institutions can view and download the results from the common websites of the education boards, https//eduboardresults.gov.bd and https//educationboardresults.gov.bd, as well as from their respective education boards' websites. Educational institutions can obtain the full result sheets by visiting the 'Result' section of the board websites and using their Educational Institution Identification Number (EIIN). Additionally, examinees can collect their results directly from their educational institutions.
For the SMS method, results can be quickly obtained by sending an SMS from any mobile phone. Students need to type 'HSC', followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board's name, their roll number, another space, and the year 2026, sending it to 16140. For instance, an examinee should type 'HSC Dha 123456 2026' and send it to the specified number.
The press release clarified that results would not be distributed directly from the education boards, the Ministry of Education, or newspaper offices. Furthermore, applications for the re-scrutiny of answer scripts will be accepted from November 1 to 7, with detailed instructions available on the education boards' websites.
